We would like to introduce ourselves, we are Jacob and Susan Schoonmaker. The restaurant is currently undergoing a transition in ownership, we will officially be taking over operations as of June 1st. We are incredibly excited to bring our flare to the pizza business and bring some delicious, original meals to your tables with some newly updated twists! Jacob's family has been in the pizza business since before he was born. Opening and operating several restaurants from Michigan to Arizona. He was raised doing prep work and folding boxes as a young child. Eventually, he went on to work as a cook for his father's restaurants throughout high school which sparked his love for pizza. As a couple we have successfully opened several businesses in the Kent County Area, however pizza is where our passion lies, it's fair to say this is our dream. This restaurant is situated in the heart of the medical mile and is a city favorite, known and loved by all for as long as we can remember. We are honored to be given the ability to take it to the next level and remind Grand Rapids just how great "Mom & Pop" pizza can be! Our "Grand Re-Opening" is set for Monday, July 1st, we will be throwing one heck of a pizza bash all day from 11 am-12 pm. Giveaways, fundraising for a local non-profit, Mr. Pizza merchandise while supplies last and more! We are also going to be GIVING AWAY our 1,000th NEW customers meal during the first few weeks of June so place your orders and see if you are lucky #1,000!
